The event will take place on October 1-6th, with 16 teams fighting for the $250,000 prize pool. This year's tournament marks a return to the original DreamHack Masters location after last year's European event took place in Stockholm and was won by North. Astralis will be making the short trip from Copenhagen to Malmö in October DreamHack Masters Malmö follows closely after ESL One New York 2019 (September 25-29), another tournament Astralis will be attending after the player break and the StarLadder Berlin Major. The team list for the tournament features two Danish teams so far, the invited Astralis and OpTic who earned their spot by winning DreamHack Open Summer back in June.
